Telly Trivia! 12/29/2011
Here’s a blog because there’s a lot of people who’s asking how was it so I decided to pull “The Steph”! I really love it when she does these things. That’s why I selfishly want her to win all the time because I know there’s going to be a blog. So I figured I’d do it too, to make other raynedrops happy! Hahaha
I don’t know where to start. Well first I just wanna say that this will not be as amazing as Steph’s blog because I’m not the best writer. I’ll probably embarrass myself by doing this but hey, I think I already did while talking to Hayley and Cari cause I’m just weird! Hahaha.
It was around 10PM ish. I was sitting with my Laptop and iPod waiting patiently while watching YouTube videos when the “Twitter tab” went crazy. It was (1) Twitter / Home then it turned to (6) so then I clicked the tab and started refreshing when I saw Cari’s tweet asking who’s ready for Telly Trivia. I saw @ily_LakodaRayne and @SweetSherline talking. Sherline asked Kirsten if they have a chance (of winning). So I butted in and said “I dont hahaha!” Sherline replied and said that I do but in my head I’m thinking, NAAAAH. Then I went back on refreshing my timeline. Out of nowhere I came up with the greatest idea, typed @CariFletcher on my iPod so I can refresh on my computer and answer with my iPod. So then when her question popped out I executed my plan! For the past Telly Trivias I just joined but I wasn’t really aiming to win. I was just there for enjoyment and being happy for the winner(s). After pressing send I realized that I kind of did that a little too fast. My heart just pumped like crazy. A few seconds later, Kristen tweeted me that I was the first one on her timeline. I was sitting there, paused and freaked out. I went to my “connect” and saw Cari just followed me. My reaction… “Holy crap, no”, ran to my sister and told her. She didn’t believe me at first but then I showed her! I left my iPod with her while waiting for the official results and peed first ‘cause it’s that intense. When I came back, Cari tweeted who won and I was surprised and my gosh… Twitter’s going crazy! All of my raynedrop friends started to congratulate me. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE. I couldn’t believe it! So yeah, I received a DM and gave cari my number.
After a few minutes my phone rang. Answered it and placed it on speaker phone ‘cause my sister wanted to join in. Well actually… I asked her to because I’m the quiet type of person. (That’s why I wasn’t really trying that hard to win). LOL.
CONVERSATION: Hayley said hello and said its Cari and Hayley from Lakoda Rayne. I said “OHMYGOD” with a really weird tone while harmonizing with my sister’s “AAAAH!” and told her to stop because she’s really loud and we sound weird. I think Hayley said how are you or who… I’m not sure so I was like what? And she said “HI” with a really adorable sound. And then I think I said “I don’t know what to do” because I was really speechless, excited and just freaking out. Then they asked where I was from I said Michigan, I think it was Cari who said “where?” so I repeated myself. They asked what my name was and said Jaya! She replied and said that it’s a cool name, I was like” really?” Because I think my name’s weird. BUT THANKS THO! I forgot to say thank you to that! My sister interrupted and asked me who was talking and told her its Cari.
*obviously my sister’s not that much of a fan as I am. She didn’t know who Cari was when I showed her that Cari followed me so I went on YouTube and showed her which one she is after my bladder situation.*
· She was confused who we’re talking to. So I cleared things up with my sister while Hayley’s doing her nose business. Hahaha!
I told Cari it’s probably because they swam at 17 degrees yesterday. Then she added that they were skiing and snowboarding as well. My sister was amazed and said “that’s cool” and I said that’s really fun. After that she asked how old I was and said 16 when Cari noticed that I have an accent. I told her that I came from the Philippines then my sister just burst-ed and said that I’m such a big fan. I was still in shock mode so yeah, I don’t know. I swear she was just on the move with all of her questions! She also shared that I made THOUSANDS of accounts to vote for them. I DIDN’T! She’s exaggerating! But I guess my sister meant that I voted thousands of times for them. THAT PART IS TRUE. They thanked me for it and said they appreciate it.
So here is where my sister took over and asked the weirdest questions.
1. She asked Hayley if she’s wearing hair extensions. (We’ve been arguing about it, during the 2nd live shows. Hayley had long hair but during boot camp she doesn’t.) I didn’t know them that well yet so I was like NO, her hair grew! But my sister’s like no, hair extensions!
a. After a few weeks I realized that its hair extensions but my sister’s just cool like that. She likes winning. I love how my sister even asked that question… She said that “when you wear telly tubby dresses” (LOL. She said wear instead of wore) Then Hayley cleared things out and yes its hair extensions.
2. Then she(my sister) asked where they are now, I answered New Jersey but then Cari said their skiing in NY. Then I told her I’m really jealous because there’s no snow in Michigan and its frustrating. One of them said we’re cute and asked how old we are. (16 and 19) Then I shared how stubborn my sister is because she doesn’t want to vote ‘cause she’s too lazy too. Hayley then replied saying that lazy is her middle name. So then we laughed! Then i said I’m sorry because I’m boring and my sister’s much more talkative than I am but they didn’t understand so I said never mind. With a follow up “your weird” from my sister.
a. They said we’re funny but my sister and I was like, “we’re not funny, hahaha. but thanks!”
3. Question numero tres! Still from my sister. “Are you guys recording, like professionally recording?”
a. I’m really not sure who answered but she said that their planning on staying and writing together and start working on their album. She also told us to expect some Lakoda Rayne music in the future.
b. My sister and I said “YEAH!” the same time, not even joking. LIKE TWINS.BOOOM. My sister added that she wants to buy their album and I said that I just want to fast forward to the future.
*My sister saying that I’m a really big fan again so I didn’t understand what Cari said next*
Then I think its Cari who asked when we came to the United States and with whom. So I answered. Follow up question from Cari: if we moved to the United States. AGAIN, my sister and I said “YuuuUP” at the same time. (CREEPY) Then Hayley shared that there’s 3 Filipinos who competed on the X Factor. So I said “IKNOW! Brewer Boys and Ellona.” I added that “I called that one!!” During Ellona’s audition I told my sister that she’s Filipino, she agreed with me when she saw her last name! (Santiago) Then I sorta interrupted one of them saying something in accident when I said that “we have asian powers to detect who’s Filipino or not”. My sister laughed, Hayley repeated what I said and we all laughed. So then I said “we have that thing”. I think its Cari who said that that’s the greatest thing she has ever heard.
Cari asked what we do, if we’re into sports or music. We said we love music, my sister said she writes stuff but it’s for her ears only. Before I can complete my statement that “we play the guitar and sort of sing ‘cause the Philippines is like that karaoke country” my sister interrupted and asked if they met Justin Bieber during the finale. They didn’t. My sister then said how much she loves Justin Bieber and some other things. They said that they love them too. So I just said… Cool because I’m not much of a fan and didn’t really know what to say. So then it went back to awkward silence when my sister and I started freaking out again ‘cause we’re out of ideas what to talk about. Hayley asked if we have any more questions. So I was like “No, I’m good” HAHAAHA! So then Hayley said something with call and stuff, I didn’t understand because she has colds and I don’t have the best ears. Also she congratulated me for getting the answer right and thanked us for the support and said they love us so much.
We said thank you back and wait for it… The best part! My sister said “We love you too! Hearts, hearts, hearts everywhere… With spakles!” (SHE WATCHES TOO MUCH COURTNEY PANTS. UNICOURT!!) and then Hayley said something about twitter then Cari congratulated and thanked us again. We said thanks again, said byee and told them their awesome. After they hung up I gave my sister a high five!

Wow, I’m surprised how detailed this is! I’m proud of myself for writing this long of a blog! WHATUP. It was a great experience, at first I was really scared and all of that but I actually enjoyed it! Thank God my sister’s there to help me. Although, she interrupted me like so many times during the phone call. Maybe atleast 3 times! It was like she was the one who won! Hahaha, if you’re wondering… My sister’s name is Jaxine/Jax. I referred to her as “my sister” the whole time. A bit mean, so yep. Jaxine, she’s the one with the cool name not me. Anyways! THANK YOU TO HAYLEY AND CARI for being so nice and fun! It started really awkward because I was in shock but looking back to it, it was a good time!
OH. AND! I was so weird-ed out why my sister’s holding her phone at my face/phone… After the conversation I found out that she recorded it. That’s why this blog’s really full of quotes and detailed acions. Hahaha. Thanks for reading! I hope you guys understood what I wrote. I tried, I told you I’m not a good writer! J
